Privacy.

The controller for data processing on this website is Oliver de Lemos Pires, Unipessoal Lda. (Pires Advisory), represented by Oliver Pires, Rua de Ferronho 277, 1.º F, 4475-703 Maia, Portugal, oliver@pires-advisory.com.

Contact. If you write to me by email, phone or WhatsApp, I process your details (name, contact data, content of your message) solely to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If you submit the contact form on this site, your entries (name, email address, message and, optionally, budget and target region) are forwarded to my mailbox via the form service Web3Forms. Web3Forms' privacy policy applies in addition.

Requesting the guide or a property dossier. If you request the free guide, I process your first name, your email address, your target region if provided, and the language in which you requested it. The purpose is to send you the guide and to occasionally inform you about new properties and articles (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). After submitting you first receive an email with a confirmation link; the registration only takes effect once you confirm (double opt-in). For sending and management I use MailerLite as a processor; the time of registration, the time of confirmation and your IP address are logged as proof of consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or informally at oliver@pires-advisory.com. If you request the dossier for a property, your entries are forwarded to my mailbox via the form service Web3Forms and I send you the dossier personally.

Appointment booking. For initial calls I use Cal.com (Cal.com, Inc., USA). The calendar is only loaded when you click a booking button or choose “Load calendar” on the contact page; your IP address and the booking details you enter are then transmitted to Cal.com. Cal.com's privacy policy applies in addition. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Fonts. The typefaces used on this site are served from our own server. No connection is made to Google Fonts or any other external provider, and your IP address is not transmitted to anyone in the process.

Storage in your browser. This website itself sets no cookies. It stores the language you selected locally in your browser so that the site opens in the same language on your next visit; this setting is not transmitted. For the duration of your visit, your browser also remembers how you reached this website (campaign parameters of a link or the referring page). If you submit a form, this information is sent along with your enquiry so that I know how you found me (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is deleted when you close the browser window. When the booking calendar is loaded (see Appointment booking), Cal.com may set its own cookies.

Your rights. You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Portugal the CNPD (cnpd.pt).

Audience measurement. This website uses Umami, an analytics tool running on a server within the EU that I operate myself. Umami sets no cookies and stores no identifiers in your browser. It records pages viewed, referrer, country, browser type and device type; the IP address is used only to derive a daily changing, non-reversible value and is not stored. No personal profile is created. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in evaluating and improving this website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). As no data is passed to third parties and nothing is stored on your device, no consent is required.
